Consistency Is Key
All children can benefit from a consistent preschool experience during the summer months! Whether a toddler or a kindergarten graduate, the Summer Programs at CNS allow children to continue their classroom routines, maintain their budding friendships, and to keep playing and learning in a structured setting. The children have fun during the summer and less anxiety in the fall!
A Summertime Theme
The summer program at CNS explores a single theme. This fun approach allows children an integrated experience of games, art, music and story times on a single topic. The themes rotate each summer. Themes include...insects, ocean life, life on the farm.
Air-Conditioned Classrooms
Summer's heat is no problem, nor is rainy weather. The Community Nursery School features large and bright air-conditioned classrooms that have access to much-utilized outdoor and indoor play areas.
Five Weeks Of Fun
The 5 week summer program runs from June to July
Monday through Friday
9:00 am to 11:45 am
Three-Year-Old Program
For the child who has completed our ToddlerTime program or
for the child who will be 3 by December 1st.
Toilet trained preferred.
Three, Four & Five day schedules available
Four-Year-Old Program
For the child who has completed a Three-Year-Old program or
for the child who will be 4 by December 1st.
Three, Four & Five day schedules available
Kindergarten Enhancement Program
For the child who is
entering Kindergarten or Grade 1 in September.
