ToddlerTime

toddlers_edited.jpg

At this young age, children are learning about themselves and others. The ToddlerTime program's loosely structured day features open play, an art project, snack-time and story-time. Songs, finger-plays and group games are also introduced. Our plentiful age-appropriate manipulatives (building toys, puzzles, puppets, toy towns, and animals), play kitchen & store, dress-up and doll area, "library" and art easel are stimulating and fun.

The CNS ToddlerTime classroom is large, bright and well-equipped. It has access to an outdoor play area. The play-yard is well-maintained and features a play house, sandbox, swings, riding and climbing toys.

The ToddlerTime program is limited to 18 children and has a staff of four qualified and caring teachers. The ratio allows appropriate supervision and personal interaction between the teachers and children.

Parents are welcome to stay the first week of the ToddlerTime Program as the children feel less separation anxiety and become more accustomed to the classroom routine.

Toilet training is NOT required for entrance into the ToddlerTime program. Toilet learning that occurs at home can be supported while your child attends school.
